*Although he is a man of very few words, Prince is gearing up to personally bring his life story to the masses with a new memoir.
News of the upcoming page-turner revealed to fans on Friday (Mar. 18) during a pop-up show in New York City, according to The Wall Street Journal.
“The Beautiful Ones,” written with assistance provided from collaborator Dan Piepenbring, Prince will provide stories behind his most celebrated work in the memoir with hopes of including everything from his first memory to his 2007 Super Bowl halftime show performance.
The memoir is set to be released sometime in the Fall of 2017 via the Random House imprint, Spiegel & Grau.

The release of the “The Beautiful Ones” will be a notable accomplishment for “The Artist,” who is considered one of the best singers and performers of all time since he came on the scene with his debut album, “For You” in 1978. In 1984, the Minneapolis-based entertainer achieved worldwide success with the release of his 1984 opus and film “Purple Rain.
A seven-time Grammy winner, Prince has sold more than 100 million albums. In 2014, he released his 36th studio album, “Plectrumelectrum,” with his band 3rdeyegirl, along with his 37th project “Art Official Age.” The following year, Prince double up again with the release of “HITnRUN Phase One” and “HITnRUN Phase Two” on Tidal.
