*Jessica Williams has decided to leave her correspondent gig at Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” to focus full time on her own development deal at the network.
As previously reported, the Viacom-owned network signed the comedienne to a development deal earlier this year, that included her headlining and producing a narrative pilot.
The deal was announced in March as part of the network’s upfront slate. Comedy Central announced her move this morning on Twitter.
