*”KEANU,” which stars Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key is a suspenseful comedy with the perfect mixture of nerd and gangsta. The movie also stars Method Man, Nia Long, Luis Guzman, Tiffany Haddish, Jason Mitchell and Will Forte.
The press junket for the movie was held in Beverly Hills on Saturday, April 23 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel where EURweb associate Kiki Ayers caught up with actress Nia Long, who plays the role of Hannah in the film. She explained her favorite part of being on set was shooting in New Orleans.
She specifically recalls a rainy day where they had a down pour for 6 plus hours. Afterwards they all went out to dinner and had an amazing time.
“It was so much fun so the music and the food. I probably gained about 10 pounds working there. The drinks,” she laughed.

Long explained her son was a big part of her taking on the role in the film because he’s a huge fan of Key and Peele.
“He was like what?! He was like mom you’ve got to do it,” she said.
She explained that her son was supposed to be her personal assistant on film and he agreed to do so but his baseball team schedule conflicted with the timing. She said he’s very excited to see the film.
Long explained the film is a fun and hilarious movie but wouldn’t suggest it as a family movie and also wouldn’t take her 4 year old son to see the film even though there’s a cat in the movie.
“I would say possibly preteen and up,” she said.
So you may be wondering what the premise of the film is. Well, when the beloved pet kitten Keanu, belonging to Rell (Jordan Peele) is taken from his home, he and his friend Clarence (Michael Keegan Key) seek out those responsible to recover the cat; but they find themselves in over their heads dealing with violent gang members
