*Sarah Paulson has famously played a woman with two-heads on television, but when the role of prosecutor Marcia Clark was offered to her for FX’s “American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson,” the Emmy-nominated actress was even more daunted by the prospect of pulling it off.

“The most challenging part of it was just my own mental awareness that Marcia Clark walks the planet now, and that this is a real person I’m playing, and the responsibility of wanting to get it right,” Paulson told TV critics in January. “I had done so much research and watched so much footage and read so many books, as everybody did, that I came to really revere her, both as a legal mind and as a person. And the idea that I was going to be representing her somehow was really scary, a kind of heavy load to bear.”
