*Rumors are swirling that Rihanna backed out of her GRAMMY performance because she had a diva meltdown at rehearsals, while another report says she bailed out when she realized rival Beyonce was there.

Host Julie Chen refutes the claims after doing some investigating, saying:

“She only rehearsed her song the morning of the GRAMMYS, so she showed up for rehearsals… it was after she came off stage that the doctor came out, because as an artist you know when you kill it, and it didn’t sound as great as she wanted to sound and that’s when the doctor said “immediately, you must rest your vocal cords.”

Regarding Rihanna’s scheduled GRAMMY bit with ‘Late Late Show’ host James Corden, Chen uncovers:

“It was her idea for the bit. She said let’s do a funny bit with a talk show host. They got James Corden…He did it with a stand in and sent her a recording of it…and then when she came off stage — you know when you can’t sing or you can’t speak. As far as the Beyonce rumors, totally untrue!”

The Hosts Debate Apple & FBI Privacy Battle
The hosts discuss Apple’s unwillingness to unlock the phone of a terrorist for the FBI.

Aisha Tyler says:

“you outline the fundamental issue of our time, which is the balance between security and privacy… A fundamental aspect of being American… [is] protection of privacy… there’s value on both sides of this argument,” though Sharon Osbourne argues, “privacy has gone, it doesn’t exist… Pandora’s Box has opened.” Sheryl Underwood suggests thinking of the victims, offering “let’s not let our privacy override the families that need justice.”

Julie Chen summarizes, clarifying Apple’s position:

“the way I understand it is, is that Tim Cook is saying ‘we cannot unlock it because we never designed it to be able to be unlocked and moving forward we as a company cannot design something that can be unlocked’.”

Gina Rodriguez Reveals Her Fangirl Moment With Bruno Mars: ‘It was awesome’
“Jane The Virgin” star Gina Rodriguez shares a story about one celebrity fan that she was most surprised and flattered by, saying:

“I went to the Cotto Canelo fight just this past November and he [Bruno Mars] got in touch with me,” she was asked, “Bruno Mars is requesting your presence in his suite,” a surprised Gina Rodriguez reacted, “Are you sure it’s me?  I’m looking around, are you sure?” She was told,  “…he loves the show, his girlfriend Jessica loves the show,” Rodriguez goes on to say about the party in his suite “… it was awesome, and she’s awesome and they’re so loving and he made it rain lobster that night!”
