That’s all you need to know as far as the quest by the Panthers to have a perfect 16-0 season. The Panthers are now 14 and 1 on the season.
It looks like the team picked the wrong time to have a bad day. Quarterback Cam Newton (who’s an Atlanta native) was off his normal efficiency and the defense gave up too many big plays.
Up until today, Carolina had won 18 consecutive regular season games.
