*Another day. Another Stacey Dash brain fart moment to shake your head at.
The Fox News contributor chimed in with her newest swipe at President Barack Obama as she highlighted the slim chance of anyone being beheaded under former commander-in-chief George W. Bush.
“When George W. Bush was president, the most important thing to him was not to be liked, but to be respected. And you better believe no one would have been beheaded when he was president,” Dash said Monday afternoon while serving as guest on “Outnumbered.”
Dash’s comments follow criticism leveled at Obama from Bush, who spoke out against Obama’s foreign policy for the first time to the Republican Jewish Coalition.
“Just remember the guy who slit Danny Pearl’s throat is in Gitmo, and now they’re doing it on TV,” Bush said in reference to the Wall Street Journal reporter who was captured by Pakistani militants in 2002.
As pointed as they are, Dash’s comments would’ve carried more weight if only she was aware that Pearl was in fact beheaded as t he Washington Post noted the following:
“After [Pearl’s] death, the use of this tactic seemed to spread, most notably into Iraq, where a large number of foreign citizens were captured and later beheaded in the immediate years after the U.S.-led invasion.”
