*Legendary New York radio broadcaster/poet/songwriter/recording artist (“The Crown“) Imhotep Gary Byrd and author/performing artist/educator Nana Camille Yarbrough were recipients of special awards presented by the Langston Hughes Library and Cultural Center during the library’s 30th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration.
On hand for the ceremony were Director Andrew Jackson, Assemblyman Jeff Aubry and Queens Borough President Melinda Katz. The awards program was co-sponsored by The BulLion Foundation.
