*Where everyone else sees either gloom or glee with the amount of injuries the Dallas Cowboys suffered in the first two weeks of the NFL season, retired wide receiver Terrell Owens sees a second chance.

Speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, T.O. said his agent has spoken with the Cowboys about him rejoining the team – despite his “fractured” relationship with Jason Witten and Tony Romo.

“We all know what happened when I was there. There were some things said where it kind of may have fractured the relationship between myself and Witten and Romo,” Owens said. “Again, time has passed and hopefully they know I’ve moved on beyond that and hopefully they have. For me, it’s all about giving myself an opportunity. That’s all I really ever wanted.”

With receiver Dez Bryant hurt and Romo out for a projected eight weeks, Witten is the lone elite player left – and he’s also dealing with an injury. Backup QB Brandon Weeden needs weapons.

But is T.O. the answer? He’s 41. He’s been out of the game for five years and just became eligible for the Hall of Fame last week. Owens says none of that matters.

“I still probably should be playing,” he said. “For me, if an opportunity arises then I’ll entertain it. And why wouldn’t I want to go back somewhere where I felt at home. I know the owner. I loved my time in Dallas.”
