*Luther Campbell, known as Uncle Luke from the ’80s rap group 2 Live Crew, has issued a stark warning to rappers, athletes, and Instagram models following Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent RICO trial verdict.
The Miami-based artist cautioned that paying for sex-related services across state lines now carries severe federal consequences. In a livestream video, the 64-year-old declared, “For all you simps who like to fly girls in – give her money for the hanky panky, it’s a federal charge now.”
He also addressed women, stating, “For all you women who like to be flown in for some hanky panky for that purse or that bag or those red bottoms, it’s a federal offense.”
Combs’ trial, which concluded after six weeks in Manhattan, resulted in a mixed verdict. The music mogul was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution involving his ex-girlfriends, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura and Jane Doe, but acquitted on graver charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. Each prostitution-related count carries a potential 10-year sentence, totaling a possible 20 years in prison.
The jury, unable to reach a consensus on the racketeering charge due to “unpersuadable opinions on both sides,” delivered the verdict after two days of deliberation, with Combs’ attorney noting he was cheered by fellow inmates upon returning to jail.

The trial exposed allegations of coercion, violence, and abuse spanning two decades, with Ventura testifying about years of physical and sexual mistreatment. Another witness, “Jane,” described a three-year relationship marked by threats and drug-fueled encounters orchestrated by Combs.
While the acquittal on major charges spared Combs a life sentence, the guilty verdict on prostitution-related counts has sent ripples through circles of high-profile men who engage in similar arrangements. Uncle Luke’s warning underscores a new legal reality, amplified by Combs’ case, where such activities could lead to federal prosecution.
An appeal of the conviction is anticipated as the case continues to reverberate. Watch what Uncle Luke had to say about it in the X video below.
