*Review: Filmed in Tuscany but made for anyone craving permission to be free, flawed, and utterly full of feeling, “You, Me and Tuscany” becomes the backdrop for a conversation about where home really is, why the scenic route is the best, and how centering joy, frolicking, and softness might just be the most romantic revolution of all.
On a sun-drenched afternoon fresh off wrapping “You Tuscany and Me,” we sat down with Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page to talk all things Black joy, Black romance, and beautifully Black self-discovery in the rolling hills of Napa.
The co-stars spilled on who’d survive a no Wi-Fi, one Vespa adventure through a tiny Tuscan village, why their sunrise runs and sunbathing sessions became sacred self-love rituals, and how they worked together to protect a vibe of softness, safety, and silliness on set.
Q: You’re stranded in a tiny Tuscan village with no Wi‑Fi and one Vespa – who from the cast is driving, navigating, and who’s getting you lost?
HB: Rege to guide us because he’s very organized and structured. And if we didn’t have Wi-Fi, I have a feeling he would know where to go.
RJP: I’m glad I give off that energy…I think we know who’s going to get us lost…
HB: Yeah, I would for sure.
RJP: Lorenzo (Marco Calvani) is probably navigating…because we would take the scenic route.
Q: There’s romance with another person, then there’s romance within yourself. What’s one ritual on or off set you practice for yourself, for self-love?
