
*Legendary music maker Quincy Jones will be celebrated for his life and legacy at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.
A star-studded roster will be on hand for the tribute, which was announced on Jan. 29, Among those honoring Jones will be Brad Paisley, Brittany Howard, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Cynthia Erivo, Herbie Hancock, Jacob Collier, Janelle Monáe, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Sheryl Crow, St. Vincent, and Stevie Wonder, Vibe reports.
The salute to Jones is among “a series of special performances” that will take place on Music’s Biggest Night. The event, which will air live this evening/tonight from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles at 8 pm ET/5 p.m. PT Feb. 2 on CBS, will feature its annual In Memoriam segment as well as “touching tributes celebrating the spirit of the city of Los Angeles” according to a statement.
For those unable to catch the event on television, it will be streamed live and on-demand on Paramount+.
The Grammys tribute to Jones comes months after he died on Nov. 3, 2024, at age 91. The famed producer won 28 Grammys across six different decades, including the Trustees Award in 1989 and the Grammy Legend Award in 1992.

In addition, Jones was noted for his role as a mentor to artists from various genres including Hancock, Wonder, and Legend.
Hosted by Trevor Noah for the fifth consecutive year, the 2025 Grammy Awards will showcase confirmed performances from Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Doechii, RAYE, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, and Teddy Swims.
As viewers watch the Grammys, the Recording Academy will use the occasion to raise funds to support Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts as well as honor first responders who helped combat the fires. The Grammys join many events and happenings that have been impacted by the disaster, with many Grammy Week events canceled or reformatted.
Since launching their Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort To Support Music Professionals last week, the Recording Academy and MusiCares have raised and pledged more than $4 million in emergency aid for music people affected by the wildfires.
Before the Grammy Awards broadcast, the non-televised Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony will air live from the Peacock Theater at 12:30 p.m. PT. Streaming will be available for the premier ceremony on the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel and at live.GRAMMY.com.
