*Nicki Minaj’s $20 million mansion in Hidden Hills, California, may be sold under court order as part of an effort to recover an unpaid judgment exceeding half a million dollars.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the rapper and her husband, Kenneth Petty, have not paid the $503,000 owed to former security guard Thomas Weidenmuller, who sued the couple over a 2019 incident during Minaj’s tour in Germany. On October 6, Weidenmuller filed a motion requesting that Minaj’s 11-bedroom, 16-bathroom mansion—purchased in December 2022 for $19.5 million—should be sold to satisfy the debt.
Weidenmuller told the court, “The property’s current fair market value is appraised at $20 million, yielding approximately $6 million in equity beyond the lien and exemption. That amount is more than sufficient to satisfy the judgment, plus accrued interest and enforcement costs.” He noted that “there is no doubt that the sale of the dwelling would satisfy the entire judgment, with millions to spare.”

Weidenmuller’s attorney argued that the situation stems from Minaj’s refusal to pay despite her wealth. “Although it is regrettable that the extraordinary measure of forcing the sale of Minaj’s dwelling is required, that result is entirely the product of her intransigence in not making payment,” the lawyer wrote. The filing added, “Minaj is a global music superstar, estimated to have a net worth of anywhere between $150-190 million… yet, she has refused to do so despite multiple written requests for payment.”
The dispute began after a 2019 concert in Germany when a fan breached security and reached the stage. Court documents allege Minaj berated a female security guard, calling her a “f**king bitch,” threw a shoe at Weidenmuller, and that Petty “PUNCHED Weidenmuller from the side and made contact with the right side of [his] face.” Police were called but made no arrests. Weidenmuller later required surgery for a broken jaw.
After Minaj and Petty failed to respond to the lawsuit, a default judgment was entered against them in March 2024. Weidenmuller is now seeking the sale of Minaj’s property to collect the court-ordered payment.
