After the incident, Johnson a/k/a “The Bad Girl of Gospel,” appeared in a video on the Larry Reid Live YouTube channel, expressing gratitude for her support during this challenging time and affirming her commitment to personal growth and healing.
“This has been a daily walk for me for some time now, and I’m yet still growing,” Johnson explained, referring to her ongoing struggle with alcoholism which she has openly discussed with church congregations and media outlets over the years.
She emphasized the importance of taking time to “woosah,” a phrase she used to describe her need for reflection and calm amid the chaos that life can bring.

Johnson’s arrest occurred on Monday afternoon after police responded to a disturbance at BrickTop’s restaurant, where witnesses reported she was “screaming at patrons.”
According to the incident report from the Greenville Police Department, officers located Johnson after she had left the establishment, where she was reportedly shouting obscenities at a passerby, the LA Times reported.
Upon encountering police, Johnson handed a Styrofoam cup to the man accompanying her, who attempted to hide it. Officers noted the strong scent of alcohol, slurred speech, and unstable posture, gathering enough evidence to confirm that her cup contained alcohol, which they subsequently disposed of.
Johnson was arrested and charged with public intoxication and possession of an open container. She was later released on a personal recognizance bond.
