After years under the L’Oréal umbrella, the company is once again Black-owned and independently operated. Founder Lisa Price will now take the helm as president, Black Enterprise reports. Price, who started Carol’s Daughter over 30 years ago, is embracing this new chapter with enthusiasm and a renewed commitment to the brand’s loyal community.
“This next chapter? It’s bolder. It’s fearless. It’s about innovation that doesn’t just follow trends but sets them,” Price shared in an Instagram post. “Most importantly, it’s about deepening our commitment to you, the community that built us, to every person who has ever believed in me, to those of you who have rocked with Carol’s Daughter from day one.”
She credited L’Oréal for an “extraordinary” partnership that expanded Carol’s Daughter’s reach and influence.
