*Keke Palmer and Usher are opening up about their controversial moment that took place at his Las Vegas residency in 2023.
The actress wore a sheer Givenchy outfit to the show — where she was serenaded by the R&B singer. When the video went viral, her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson reacted on social media, writing, “It’s the outfit tho . . . you a mom.” He later claimed her sexy attire didn’t align with his values. At the time, their son Leodis was 5 months old.
“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is,” Jackson tweeted in a now-deleted post.
“This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case,” he added.
Shortly after the incident, Palmer and Jackson reportedly ended their relationship, leading fans to believe that the risque outfit was the reason for the split.

On the latest episode of Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, the actress sat down with Usher to discuss their careers and the Vegas incident.
“Now, obviously, everyone went crazy, we caused some ruckus in my relationship,” Keke stated in the Feb. 11 episode of her podcast, MadameNoire reports.
“Yeah we did,” Usher replied. “Well hold on, did we cause some ruckus in the relationship?”
“We did — and its so funny, we were being showmen!” Keke added.
“Hold on, did I have anything to do with what was going on in your home? Did I send you that dress? I just want to know that!” Usher said.
“I cannot be responsible for how people choose to react to my experience as an entertainer. I am not deliberately trying to do anything that’s going to rock anyone’s home,” the Grammy winner continued.
“This what you call Usher Usher-ing,” Palmer said.
“I’m Usher-ing right now. This is what I actually say to myself in the mirror everytime I go out there. I say, ‘I am not here to break up your home. I am here to entertain you, my love.’”
