*Serena Williams made waves on Thursday as she showcased her chiseled physique in a series of yacht-side photos, revealing the results of her fitness journey. The 43-year-old tennis legend sported a bright blue bikini, confidently displaying her toned arms, sculpted abs, and lean legs while vacationing with friends.
Among the striking images shared, one features Williams in a matching beach skirt with a thigh-high slit. In another shot, she pairs her blue bikini top with lavender bottoms.
“Me and my girls… are out in the streets tonight. But we starting here,” Williams captioned the photos on social media.
Her impressive physique didn’t come by accident. Recently, she shared gym snaps with fans, writing, “Working out and working on my angles,” offering a glimpse into the hard work behind her striking look.
Despite the celebratory tone of her latest vacation post, Williams continues to battle scrutiny over her appearance. Last year, the athlete came under fire after a video surfaced showing her with lighter skin and blonde hair, sparking accusations of skin bleaching.

The clip, recorded during her daughter’s Nutcracker recital in Florida, led to online criticism and speculation about her mental health. Actor Isaiah Washington even chimed in, referencing the controversial novel “The Bluest Eye” and suggesting, “She will be white in 3 year’s like Michael Jackson.”
In an Instagram Live session on December 2, Williams directly addressed the backlash. “For you haters out there. I do not bleach my skin. There is a thing called sunlight, and in that sunlight, you get different colors,” she told her 17 million followers.
Williams went on to explain that the look in the viral video was due to “stage makeup,” not bleaching products.
“Yes, I’m calling you out on this because it is ridiculous that everyone’s like, ‘Oh, she bleaches skin.’ I’m a dark Black woman, and I love who I am, and I love how I look,” she said.
“That’s just not my thing, and if people do it, that’s their thing and they have every opportunity and they should … I don’t judge, but you guys do,” she continued. “That’s what this world is about and I stay in my lane, the non-judgy one and I keep it. But, no, actually, I don’t bleach my skin. So, can we just kinda clear that up?”
