Ariana Grande Says Her Break Was Planned
Ariana Grande is setting the record straight about her decision to take a break after wrapping her “Eternal Sunshine Tour.”
During her concert at Chicago’s United Center, the Grammy-winning singer told fans she wanted to address the speculation herself because stories that don’t come directly from her can quickly become distorted.
Grande explained that her decision to step away from public-facing work wasn’t an emotional response to recent criticism about her appearance but a thoughtful choice she made well in advance.
She acknowledged that ongoing public scrutiny reinforced her need for stronger boundaries, but emphasized that it has not diminished what the tour has meant to her.
Grande described the tour as “the greatest experience” of her professional and creative life, calling it healing, beautiful and deeply meaningful. She reassured fans that nothing happening outside the arena could overshadow the connection she shares with them or the joy she finds in performing.
Her message made clear that taking time away is about protecting her well-being—not walking away from an experience she says she’ll always treasure.

The longtime “Inside the NBA” analyst and two-time NBA champion married Croatian entrepreneur and influencer Tia Jurčić during an elegant wedding weekend at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, California.
Jurčić shared photos from the celebration on Instagram, captioning them, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”
The ceremony featured an outdoor setting decorated with white roses and a crystal chandelier, while the couple also posed for sunset photos beside a red Rolls-Royce. Jurčić wore a dramatic strapless gown adorned with textured fabric roses and a matching veil, while Smith opted for a classic white dinner jacket with black lapels.
The couple reportedly met through Jurčić’s son, Domenick, during a visit to Abu Dhabi. Smith proposed in October 2025 before the pair exchanged vows this summer.
The marriage marks the third for both Smith and Jurčić.
