*DJ Akademiks has ignited controversy online by alleging that Drake assisted LeBron James in cheating on his wife, Savannah James.
During a livestream, Akademiks shared unverified rumors that Drake arranged encounters with women for LeBron in Toronto. His bombshell remarks have drawn widespread attention and skepticism from fans of the rapper and NBA star.
“Yo LeBron, I talked to enough whores in Canada. I’ve talked to enough people maybe Drake will keep teasing it let me just tell you what I’ve heard,” Akademiks stated, Vibe reports. “Yo LeBron, you and Drake used to go on two-mans, okay? You’ve been cheating on your God damned wife. Drake used to facilitate the ho*s and basically, essentially you can’t dance to a song about him being a pedophile. He used to supply you with the bi**hes, I’m sorry my ni**a.”
He continued, “If I’m Drake I’ll snitch on you, too. Sorry buddy you can’t do that. No. You’ve been living a lie, and everybody been thinking you’re this perfect guy. But when you come to Canada, I know some of the wh*res. When you come to Canada you come to certain places.”
Ak then mocked Drake, saying, “‘I’m supplying you with the white women you love. You don’t even like Black chicks, white women. I’m the guy.’”
Adding fuel to the fire, Drake’s new track Fighting Irish Freestyle has drawn attention for its possible references to LeBron, including its title linked to LeBron’s high school mascot. Their once-close friendship has reportedly soured, with some pointing to LeBron’s recent support of Kendrick Lamar’s perceived diss tracks aimed at Drake.
LeBron James and Drake’s friendship began in 2009 when LeBron attended the release party for Drake’s So Far Gone mixtape in Toronto. Drake reflected on this milestone in 2019 while marking the mixtape’s 10th anniversary.
“A decade ago you came to my release party at 6 Degrees and made me the biggest artist in the city off your presence alone,” Drake wrote of LeBron in a since-deleted Instagram post, per Vibe.
LeBron and Drake have not commented on the cheating allegations.
