Serena Williams Calls Out The Peninsula Paris on Social Media for Denying Entry to Rooftop Restaurant | VIDEO

*On Monday, Serena Williams took to social media to express her disappointment and frustration with The Peninsula Hotel in Paris after she and her family were denied access to the establishment’s rooftop restaurant.

In her post, the 42-year-old tennis legend shared her disbelief over being turned away from an empty restaurant, emphasizing that it was particularly disheartening as she was with her children.

“Yikes,” Williams tweeted. “@peninsulaparis I’ve been denied access to the rooftop to eat in an empty restaurant of nicer places but never with my kids. Always a first.”

Williams made sure to clarify there was no confusion over the location by including a sign from the building in her post. Her message quickly became a focal point of discussion on social media, with many of her fans and followers expressing their support and condemning the hotel’s actions.

One fan summed up the sentiment by asking, “Who doesn’t make room for a queen?”

The incident has overshadowed Williams’ otherwise enjoyable experience in Paris, where she has been seen attending various events, including the thrilling competitions at the Paris Games. Williams even participated in the prestigious Olympic torch-lighting handoff alongside other sports legends like Rafael Nadal, Carl Lewis, and Nadia Comaneci.

Additionally, she was spotted enjoying the match between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday inside the famous Court Philippe Chatrier.

The hotel, The Peninsula Paris, has yet to respond to the incident. We reached out for a comment, but so far, no word back from them.
