*It’s been a while since any news surrounding Wendy Williams surfaced, but the former daytime talk show queen’s living status has now been uncovered. According to Sandra Rose, New York radio host Miss Jones broke the news that Williams has moved from New York and lives in Florida with her son, Kevin Hunter Jr.
During her radio show, Jones mentioned a visit she paid to Williams at her apartment building in Manhattan.
Upon entering the building, a doorman told Jones she was too late to see Williams.
“‘You’re a couple of months late. She moved,’” Miss Jones quoted the doorman.
After asking around the building about Williams’ whereabouts, Jones learned her friend resides in the Sunshine State with Kevin Jr.
“‘Well you know what happened, she was getting better, she was coming around, and then she started getting sick again,’” Jones said while quoting what a neighbor told her.
“And because her family’s in Florida and people were coming in her circle that they weren’t familiar with and they didn’t know, like, they couldn’t get access to her when they wanted, they moved her down to Florida. So she is allegedly down in Florida with her son recuperating.”
Jones’ revelation about Williams marks the latest development involving the 59-year-old former radio fixture since she kept a low profile after a series of setbacks. Among those setbacks, Sandra Rose notes, was the cancellation of her once popular daytime talk show and her battle with Graves’ disease and dementia, in addition to her stint in rehab for past alcoholism and prescription drug abuse.
Williams was last seen in public in February 2023. In September 2022, her Instagram page was updated with new photos.
Kevin Jr. Living with his mother comes after legal drama arising from accusations of forging Williams’ name on an application for a $2 million apartment on Miami Beach. He was evicted from the apartment after a judge appointed a trustee to oversee Williams’ money.
Commenting further on Williams, Jones stated she checked a multiple property listing online, only to discover that Williams’ duplex apartment was not sold and is not on the market.
As a result, Jones speculated on a return to New York for Williams soon.
“Wendy, if you listening, you won!” Jones relayed in a direct message to Williams. “Diddy going to jail for Easter! It was true, everything you said… And Kev can’t get your money neither, Wendy. The judge shut him down. You can stop now, Wendy. The jig’s up.”
