*Michael Vick’s former talent agency is suing him for over $100,000 he allegedly owes the company.

According to The Blast, the legal case was filed in Los Angeles County Courts for money that the former NFL star allegedly owes from a case in Georgia. The filing is known as a “sister-state judgment,” the outlet reports.

Vick allegedly owes the talent agency over $130,000. He initially agreed to a payment plan, but the agency is “alleging he has either failed to keep up with his monthly payments, or they want to make sure he continues to pay if he lives in Los Angeles,” per The Blast.

As we reported, Vick was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the first pick of the 2001 draft and played with the team for six seasons. After his prison stint for running a dog fighting operation, Vick returned in 2009 with the Philadelphia Eagles for five seasons. He served as a backup for the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Vick officially retired in 2017 after 13 NFL seasons.

Vick declared bankruptcy following his conviction (and NFL suspension) for dogfighting. In 2018, he reportedly received $400,000 in loans, which he allegedly failed to repay. Per the New York Post, “a $1.9 million judgment was ultimately handed down in court.”

Vick was in the prime of his career when he pleaded guilty to his involvement in illegal dog fighting in 2007 and spent nearly two years in prison.

We reported previously that he agreed to come out of retirement to join the startup league Fan Controlled Football.

In 2022, Vick teamed with SMAC Productions to co-produce an eight-part documentary series on the evolution of the Black quarterback in America.

“I’m excited to be a part of this project because as a kid, I just wanted to have a shot at playing in the National Football League. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be the first African American quarterback drafted #1. I know that was a big step for us in society,” Vick said in a statement at the time.
