*In a new Netflix interview with Mark Wahlberg promoting their latest film, “The Union,” Halle Berry opens up about the painful injuries she’s endured throughout her career.
Berry said she has sustained at least 10 broken bones on set in her decades-long Hollywood career.
“Arm broken, broke ribs twice — two ribs one time, three ribs another — broke tailbone, broke two toes and [my middle] finger,” Berry said before noting that she has also been knocked out three times.
Wahlberg listed the injuries he’s sustained over the years, including “Torn meniscus, separated shoulder, ego bruised quite a few times,” he said.
Berry and Wahlberg also shared the combat skills they’ve acquired for gigs over the years.

“I’ve learned jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, kickboxing, Taekwondo… I learned how to shoot. I learned capoeira for Catwoman,” Halle revealed.
Wahlberg learned ballet and tango and how to crochet for his 2010 action comedy “The Other Guys.”
Both actors acknowledged the challenges of filming underwater scenes. Berry said she spent over two minutes underwater while filming 2012’s “Dark Tide.”
“I played a free diver. I had to hold my breath for almost two and a half minutes… and that felt like an eternity. It felt like death,” she said.
