*Sean “Diddy” Combs is embroiled in a series of lawsuits from anonymous accusers, but the identity of one has now emerged from the shadows: Anna Kane.
Kane, the ex-wife of NHL player Evander Kane, has revealed her name in court documents as part of her sexual assault lawsuit against the music mogul. This development adds another layer to the ongoing allegations that Diddy and others participated in a brutal assault.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Anna Kane amended her lawsuit to include her real name after being ordered to disclose her identity to proceed with her claims.
She alleges that when she was just 17 years old and still in high school, Diddy and a group of individuals gang-raped her.
In a statement through her attorney, Doug Wigdor, Anna expressed her determination to pursue justice despite efforts to intimidate her.
“I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager. The defendant’s demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me.”
Anna claims that her connection to Diddy began in 2003 when she met Bad Boy Entertainment President Harve Pierre in Detroit. Pierre allegedly commented on her appearance and invited her to travel via private jet to meet Diddy in New York City. During this trip, Anna, still an 11th grader, alleges she was drugged and assaulted after being taken to a recording studio.
She claims to have photographic evidence from that meeting, identifying herself as the girl with a blurred face in the images. According to her lawsuit, Diddy took her into a bathroom and assaulted her without her consent, an allegation he has vehemently denied.
Anna Kane and Evander Kane, who currently plays for the Edmonton Oilers, were married in 2018 and share one child. However, their marriage ended when Anna filed for divorce in July 2021, shortly before she launched her lawsuit against Diddy.
As the legal proceedings unfold, the revelations surrounding Anna Kane’s allegations against Diddy have garnered significant attention, raising questions about accountability and the responsibilities of those in the entertainment industry.
