*Tamar Braxton’s engagement to ex-fiancé Jeremy “JR” Robinson is back on.
Braxton announced the news in a video post shared on Instagram Monday. In the clip, the injury lawyer surprises her with a new engagement ring for Christmas. Another clip shows JR on one knee and placing the ring on her finger. Braxton, who met Robinson on the “Queens Court” dating show, captioned the footage: “3 months ago we thought we HATED each other and we were completely OVER…. Here we are after a simple football game box you got for your birthday and one REAL HARD conversation … we knew that whatever happened in the past was just that and ANYTHING other than US and our family only mattered.”
Braxton said she and Robinson “choose to love each other OUTLOUD.”
“So the truth is WE DONT CARE if anyone disagrees with it,” she noted, adding, “ … we found something worth fighting for and forgiving each other for EVERYDAY in front and behind the scenes.”
In October, the couple called off their engagement amid reports that things were rocky. Robinson reportedly has five kids with four different women, The Jasmine Brand reports.

“I ended the relationship to focus on getting back to positive energy & being a better person,” Robinson said of Braxton amid news of their breakup, per The Jasmine Brand.
He added, “No, I never cared about fame. Who reveals their most embarrassing moments in their life to find fame. The truth is I was in an amazing place financially and mentally. I turned down Queens [Court] several times before I gave in. Ultimately, I fell in love and it did not end how I wanted it.”
Meanwhile, in her Christmas Day post on IG, Braxton told Robinson … “I love you with my entire heart and from now on our troubles are miles away….I’m having myself a Merry little Christmas now.”
