RHOP’s Robyn Dixon on S7 Drama and Karen’s Crush on Her ‘Husband’ Juan | EUR Video Exclusive

*One of the first scenes of Robyn Dixon on “Real Housewives of Potomac” was her trying on her old wedding dress while still living with her ex-husband, former NBA player Juan Dixon. The divorced couple lived together with their young sons in season one, even sharing the same bed. In December 2019, Juan proposed for the second time, but the nuptials appeared to be on a forever hold.

Fast forward to season 7 of the hit Bravo series, and questions surrounding their relationship were a main story point of the season. In a recent episode, Karen implies that Juan has a girlfriend and that the wedding will never occur.

Robyn spoke exclusively to EURweb’s Jill Munroe about the controversy surrounding her and Juan, plus her thoughts on why Karen has such a vested interest in the couple’s wedding plans. Dixon shared that although Juan’s reaction to the gossip on-screen was upsetting, he laughs off the drama even though he can be annoyed by it.

“It’s funny, even though his reaction on the episode, he was going off, he laughs at all the stuff,” she shared. “He does not like the show’s conflict and drama; he doesn’t quite grasp that. I think most men don’t. So that is not appealing to him. But, you know, he’s been talked about his whole life. We have both been talked about our entire adult life because he was an NBA player.”

Dixon believes Karen has a crush on Juan and her actions on the show prove how “fake” she is.

“She picks and chooses who she wants to be,” Dixson said. “So there are a lot of discrepancies in how Karen tries to present herself. And then the things that she says and does, we saw her every time, ‘Oh, Robin, tell me about the wedding.’ And she seems to be sincere. And then, when she doesn’t like my answer, she trashes me behind my back. So she’s just showing more of who she is.”

Dixon said it was laughable for Karen to say Juan was cheating with a woman that looked like her. She also said the rumors are “made up” and “ridiculous.”

“I actually have a picture of Karen and her lover. It’s just funny. People can dish it. They can’t take it. They have different standards for different people. And it’s all a joke to me. She’s a joke,” Dixon added.

As for the future, Dixon says she doesn’t plan to be on reality TV forever and has thought about her exit from the show. But for now, Robyn and Juan claim they are married, and the details will be revealed in episode seven as well as in the upcoming reunion special.
