*50 Cent is taking legal action against a popular plastic surgeon after she allegedly used his photo to falsely claim he was one of her clients.

Now the doctor at the center of the legal drama wants the complaint tossed. As Vlad TV reports, Doctor Angela Kogan and her lawyers say 50 Cent should be suing The Shade Room instead.

We reported previously that the rapper is suing Kogan and her companies, Perfection Plastic Surgery and MedSpa, citing that she used an old photo of them together to mislead the public into believing 50 underwent a penis enhancement procedure.

According to TMZ, 50 had concerns after another news source published an article with Dr. Krogan about the rise of male enhancement surgeries.

The article featured the image of Krogan and 50 Cent but has reportedly been deleted. 50 reportedly posed with Kogan in a photo in exchange for services at the spa.

In the court documents, lawyers for Kogan said, “The Shade Room is the author of the Article, and pulled the Photo from Kogan’s social media without Kogan’s permission or consent. The Shade Room is the publisher of the Article, and Plaintiff has improperly applied the actions of The Shade Room to Defendant.” As previously mentioned by the judge in the case, if a settlement isn’t reached, both parties will be heading to trial in July 2023. The Florida doctor sought to have the lawsuit against her tossed but a judge reportedly denied the request.

The trial between 50 Cent and Kogan is now set for July 2023.

Per Vlad TV, in court documents related to the case, Judge Robert Scola wrote: “The appearance of counsel and each party or representatives of each party with full authority to enter into a full and complete compromise and settlement is mandatory. If insurance is involved, an adjuster with authority up to the policy limits or the most recent demand, whichever is lower, must attend. All proceedings of the mediation will be confidential and privileged.”

Scola continued, “If mediation is not conducted, the case may be stricken from the trial calendar, and other sanctions may be imposed.”
