*Patti LaBelle appeared on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” on Feb. 8 and revealed that she’s open to dating at age 78.
As Vibe reports, the music icon was previously married to her former manager, Armstead Edwards, for 32 years. The couple divorced in 2003.
“I think in life I need to find happiness for myself, other than what I had back in the day with him, which was wonderful. But I’m too good to be solo,” LaBelle told Hudson.
“I do have a nice person in mind. I really do,” she added but remained tight-lipped about who the mystery man is “That’s my personal business,” LaBelle said. Watch the moment via the YouTube clip below.

During the conversation with Hudson, LaBelle was then asked if she’s ever used dating apps.
“What’s that?” the singer asked Hudson who explained dating sites to LaBelle.
“You know, when you go online, and then you swipe through and say ‘nah, not that one…maybe that one,’” Hudson said
“Oh, that stuff. I’ve seen that commercial,” LaBelle laughed, and that’s when she revealed she has “a nice person in mind.”
“I really do…but that’s my personal business,” LaBelle added.
