*Nick Cannon says his ex-wife Mariah Carey often checks in “on my spirit” as the two amicably co-parent their preteen twins.

Speaking to media personality Jason Lee for “The Jason Lee Show,” Cannon opened up about how Carey supports his lifestyle as a father to 12 children with six different women.

“She’s high frequency. She always asks me, ‘You aight? How you doin’? You handling it all?’” Cannon said, according to Page Six. “When we talk daily, she’s just checking in on my spirit,” he added.

Cannon also revealed that Carey told him not to bring his “bullsh*t” to her home.

The rapper and TV host is father to 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe whom he shares with Carey. Last year, he welcomed baby number 12 and his second with model Alyssa Scott. Cannon and Scott named their baby Halo Marie Cannon. Her birth came a year after the death of their son Zen — who was 5 months old when he died of brain cancer.

Cannon also shares sons Rise Messiah and Golden Sagon as well as daughter Powerful Queen with model Brittany Bell.

Additionally, there’s daughter Beautiful Zeppelin and twins Zion and Zillion with Abby De La Rosa, and Cannon shares son Legendary Love with model Bre Tiesi and daughter Onyx Ice Cole with model LaNisha Cole.

Cannon recently suggested Taylor Swift should be his next baby mama.

Meanwhile, Cannon previously called Carey “a gift from God” in an interview with The Shade Room.

“I was 12 years old with Mariah Carey pictures on my wall, and that becomes my wife. And the fact that she’s the coolest person I ever met,” he shared.

“No matter what’s happening in life. I’m like, ‘Wow, a person can really operate like that and don’t allow negative energy into their space,’” Cannon said about Carey.

The pair wed in 2008 but separated in 2014 before pulling the plug on their marriage in 2016.

“I get a lot of this delightful disposition from her,” Cannon told The Shade Room. “She’s just always happy, always doing for others.”

“When I found out about how remarkable she was… that woman is not human. She’s a gift from God,” he added.
