*We caught up with NFL star Brandon Siler to discuss his new book, “Definition of a Leader,” and the recent Netflix documentary series, “Swamp Kings.”
Siler unpacks what it means to be a leader with his groundbreaking book, taking readers “deeper into his philosophy through personal anecdotes, insights from his NFL days, and revelations from his time amidst the swamps,” per the press release.
“If you’re okay with being an average leader, this book will frustrate you. I’m not here to give you a cliche blueprint of what I’ve learned from others. And I’m not interested in comforting the average in you. I want to shock your system and motivate you because you can be great. The vision you see with your eyes closed, and the world that you’ll create requires you to be a great leader,” Siler said in a statement.
As a sports fan and business leader, Siler has pioneered a wave of platforms that connect people around the globe. In addition to publicly sharing his personal testimony and success, Siler’s B. Siler Leadership Academy mentors people of all ages who want to develop skills to guide others professionally. He also manages 11 businesses and advocates for disabled NFL players and mental health awareness.
Siler’s new book, “Definition of a Leader,” offers invaluable lessons for budding entrepreneurs, seasoned executives, and anyone seeking personal growth.
Siler played in the NFL for six seasons. He was a member of the Gators’ 2006 national championship team during his college football career. This experience and his journey off the football field are explored with Netflix’s hit documentary series, “UNTOLD,” in the 4-series episode “Swamp Kings.”
“Brandon and his teammates give viewers a bird’s-eye view of how they catapulted the Florida Gators from underdogs to winners of two BCS National Championships,” per the release.
