*Bryson Bryant, the son of reality TV star NeNe Leakes, will remain jailed until next year after being busted with fentanyl.
Bryson was arrested on July 3 for felony possession of Fentanyl and a misdemeanor for loitering/prowling, RadarOnline reports. At the time of his arrest, he gave officers the name of his younger brother, Brentt Leakes. After police discovered his real identity, Bryant, 33, was hit with an additional charge of “giving a false name, address or birthdate to a law enforcement officer.”
When Bryant’s name was run in the system, officers saw he was “wanted for probation violation” in a separate case, per RadarOnline. He won’t be eligible for release from Gwinnett County Jail until January 3, 2024.
When NeNe appeared on Carlos Kings’ podcast, she was asked if “Real Housewives of Atlanta” contributed to her son’s drug problems, Leakes replied, “I don’t think it helped.”
The mother of two recently spoke out about Bryant’s arrest and admitted her son has “been struggling” with drugs for years.

“He needs rehabilitation,” Leakes explained, according to RadarOnline. “He needs a lot of counseling. Like many families out there, I have family members that are struggling with drugs and certain addictions. He has an addiction. He’s been struggling with it for years. He’s been in rehab for a couple of times and he still has come back out and relapsed.”
In an exclusive interview with Radar, Symone Davis — who shares a minor son with Bryant — believes RHOA affected NeNe’s relationship with her oldest son.
“I know the show didn’t specifically affect him but it did change his mother,” she told RadarOnline.com.
According to Davis, Bryant allegedly said often that “the money changed his mom.”
RadarOnline.com reports Davis is “not surprised” police found drugs in Bryson’s vehicle, but she was shocked to learn the drugs were fentanyl.
“I didn’t know he was going to that depth,” she said in an exclusive interview with the outlet.
