*Longtime TV personality Michaela Pereira has a new daytime TV show that is set to debut this fall.
Pereira will host a one-hour syndicated talk show titled Michaela! that will feature candid conversations on universal topics and lifestyle segments, Urban Hollywood 411 reports.
“I love people, and I’ve been so worried about us over the past while with the pandemic and then the after effects of it on our mental health, our well-being. So, what I want is to bring us together again to remind us of who we are, what we’re made of, how much we have in common,” Pereira, a former CNN anchor, said in a statement.
“There’s been so much time spent on showing us how different we all are,” she continued. “And while there are differences, I think those differences can be celebrated.”

She added, “Our show has to be centered around the human experience, and that just doesn’t mean somebody sitting there telling you a boring story. We want to capitalize on the universal truths for all of us. And we’re going to have fun. I don’t think I’m a goofball exactly, but… I love to laugh!”
A native of Canada, Pereira has covered local and national news throughout her career. She spent nearly a decade as co-anchor of KTLA’s morning show before joining CNN in 2013. About three years later hosted the program MichaeLA for HLN. In October 2020, she joined KTTV (Fox 11) as the host of Good Day LA. She reportedly left the station in September.
As Urban Hollywood 411 reports, Michaela! is currently cleared in Canada but has not yet secured broadcast agreements with television stations in the U.S.
