*The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are spreading awareness about digital responsibility.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Archewell Foundation is a founding member of the new philanthropic initiative Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund, “which has awarded $2 million in grants to youth-led groups working to make the technology ecosystem a more inclusive, equitable and accountable place,” People writes.
In a video of the royal couple thanking several young leaders in this space, Harry and Megan gave a shout-out to their kids, son Archie, 4, and daughter Lilibet, 2.
“Thank you for doing everything that you do. Our kids especially are incredibly grateful,” Prince Harry said.
“They don’t know it yet, but they will!” Meghan added — watch the clip below.
A key component of the Archewell Foundation’s public work is digital responsibility.
“At The Archewell Foundation, our core purpose is, quite simply, to do good. We meet the moment by showing up, taking action, and using our unparalleled spotlight to uplift and unite communities, both local and global, online and offline,” Archewell’s about page states. “Baked into all that we do is the core belief that our collective well-being and mental health are paramount. Our three main pillars of focus are to build a better world online, to restore trust in information, and above all, to uplift communities.”
Archewell previously announced its participation in the Youth Power Fund “as part of the foundation’s ongoing commitment to the future of technology and its impact on society.”
Meanwhile, despite rumors across the pond of a possible divorce, an insider told Us Weekly that “It’s been a challenging time” for the prince and princess but noted that “They’re a united front,” said a second source of the couple.
“As far as they’re concerned, it’s Harry and Meghan against the world,” the insider shared.
