The fourth season of Netflix’s hit show “Love is Blind” premiered last week. Only the first five episodes have aired thus far and the drama has already begun!
The singles have gone through the dating process and found their potential mates! Or have they?
We sat down with Chelsea, Jackie, and Irina to talk about their experience so far.
“My experience was a hell of a time,” said Jackie. “It might have been a roller coaster, but I had fun. I knew I had no relationship experience. So I’m like, ‘let me just go in, dive in and see what’s going on.'” In the past, Jackie has had superficial relationships with men, nothing that was solid and she always went for the same type of guy. But Marshall (her “pod mate”) is entirely different from the men of her past. It’s always said if you let go of your type you’ll find what’s right, for you. So far Marshall is caring and patient with Jackie. This couple just may go the distance.
Irina and Zack (her “pod mate”), are already facing trouble in paradise. When dating in the pods it’s like being in a bubble.
Can the relationship last when that bubble is burst? After spending time with one another outside of the pods Irina is realizing this relationship may not be what she wants.
“Obviously outside of the pods, it was more challenging. There were moments when we got out (of the pods) and I was like ‘wait, you’re not as funny as I thought you were,'” said Irina. As fans have seen in past seasons sometimes the connection in person isn’t as strong as what the couple thought they built while dating. Zack is feeling Irina’s lack of interest. So what will happen to this couple? Will they work it out or will they move on?
