*Damar Hamlin returned to Paycor Stadium over the weekend for the first time since he suffered a cardiac arrest at the facility earlier this year.

The 25-year-old safety had a medical emergency in January after a routine tackle caused him to have a heart attack on the field during the Week 17 Monday Night Football game. Hamlin’s recovery became a national story, leading to his return to football this summer.  At the time, he described his comeback as “super fun.”

“It was a great experience. Just another milestone and a step up just getting back to myself as far as in the football space and in the NFL,” Hamlin told reporters during a post-game press conference in April, Yahoo reported.

“I love this, like, I want to be here. I want to play, I want to do good. I want to be one of the greats,” he shared. “I want to be remembered as somebody who, you know, stood for something and who made a difference when I was out there on the field.”

Hamlin’s Paycor Stadium return occurred when the Buffalo Bills played the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday. The NFL star didn’t play in the game but he made time to stand in the exact spot of his cardiac arrest. Watch the powerful and emotional moment via the Twitter clip below.
