*Anthony Anderson has agreed to pay monthly spousal support as part of his divorce settlement with ex-wife Alvina Anderson.

As The Blast reports, the “Blackish” actor “agreed to pay a monthly sum in spousal support for the divorce settlement, but the amount is to remain private. The deal struck by the parties, but wasn’t made public by the courts,” the outlet writes.

“The parties have entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support, the original of which is being or has been submitted to the court. I request that the court approve the agreement,” the court docs read, per The Blast.

We reported previously that Anderson’s wife of 22 years decided to pull the plug on their marriage in 2015 but dismissed the petition. The marriage continued to be tumultuous so the couple called it quits for good in 2022.

In her divorce filing, Alvina cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. In her legal docs, she sought spousal support and wanted Anderson to pay for her attorney fees.

As The Blast reports, when she first filed for divorce, Alvina listed April 1, 2014, as the separation date. In the latest filing, she claims the date of separation is “TBD”.

In his court documents, Anthony indicated irreconcilable differences as the cause of their split.

Anthony and Alvina married in September 1999 and share two adult kids.

In the original divorce, Anderson asked that spousal support be reserved for “future determination” and that both parties cover their own legal fees.

In his initial response to her divorce petition, People reported that Anderson said he is uncertain about “the exact nature and extent of separate property assets and obligations,” and that he “reserves the right to amend this response when same is ascertained.”
