*A video of a New Jersey bus driver shooting at a group of teenagers has been watched by more than a million on social media. The driver is also behind bars following the incident.
The Jersey City police said there was certainly a disagreement between the driver (now identified as 48-year-old Charles Fieros) and at least six teenagers.
Witnesses say the teens kicked the driver to the ground after he pulled over the bus to let them out.
The driver pulled the bus over and got out behind the furious teenagers who proceeded to kick him as he fell to the ground. It is at that point the video captures him pulling out a gun. He then fired 3 shots. One of the teenagers was shot and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. However, the victim’s condition has since stabilized. The driver himself got treated for cuts and bruises before being arrested and later charged with seven counts including attempted murder and unlawful possession of a handgun.

The gun is a black 9mm glock, which police say had been stolen, according to the Hudson County Prosecutors Office. Mr. Fieros is still in custody. Meanwhile, he was suspended without pay from New Jersey Transit. Moreover, his detention hearing was adjourned and no new date has been set yet as of now.
Coincidentally, Governor Phil Murphy signed legislation designed to strengthen New Jersey’s conceal carry law around the period this incident made news. But the governor steered clear of the incident.
“You don’t want to have to worry about coming into a situation where you don’t expect someone to have a gun,” Murphy said.
