*Today Karl Anthony Towns, the Minnesota Timberwolves center, undoubtedly has a heavy heart as he is dealing with the passing of his mother, Jacqueline Towns who lost her battle with the novel coronavirus.
It was three weeks ago that Towns, 24, revealed his mother tested positive for COVID-19. Unfortunately, things didn’t improve and she was put into a coma to continue fighting for her life.
In the interim, the baller’s father, Karl Sr., also tested positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, he made a full recovery.

Sadly, yesterday (04-13-20), Mrs. Towns passed away passed away, but the NBA star is getting support. His team issued the following about his mother:

As noted by TheYBF, Jacqueline Towns died just three months shy of her birthday, which is the same day as her 27th wedding anniversary with Karl Sr.
