*A Black couple in the Southern California town of Torrence were victims of a racist encounter at a red light Wednesday by a white man throwing the Nazi sign and woman yelling, “Only white lives matter!”
One of the victims wrote on Instagram, “Today on my 25th birthday I was a victim of racism and so was my boyfriend who is black. We were being harassed for miles.”
In the video a white woman can be seen walking toward the black couple’s car and flipping them off with both hands, yelling “white lives matter (expletive)” and then “only white lives matter.” Then a man with her walks toward the car and extends his arm in a Nazi salute.
The woman who posted the video to Instagram also said their car was struck by the other couple.
Torrance police say they are aware of the incident and are looking into it.
