*Christie Brinkley reacts to Wendy Williams accusing her of faking her “Dancing With The Stars” injury.
“Wendy Williams started this rumor, which was stunning to me because, you know, I’ve been on Wendy’s show a couple of times, and for some reason she liked me, and she would call on me to support her in tough times. So, I got a call one day that she was having a terrible bout of stage fright, and she was about to drop out of Chicago The Musical,” says Brinkley. She also recalls Williams calling her for advice on her divorce. “I get a call again, because let’s face it, I’m kind of an expert with that… I was like, ‘I’m going to help you’… so I thought it was a mistake when someone said she was doing this.” Sharon Osbourne says, “I want to show Wendy your x-rays.” Brinkley adds, “I didn’t just break them, because of the angle I hit, they shattered… my surgery, that was supposed to take an hour and a half, ended up taking 3 hours, and they ended up putting in a plate.” Brinkley shares, “My message to Wendy is, it’s so much more fun to be kind. Try it. It can’t feel good to try to hurt other people. If it feels good, something’s seriously wrong.”

Christie Brinkley Says ‘thank you’ to Sharon Osbourne for Calling Out Wendy Williams
“I am so happy to be here, so I can personally thank you for defending me. Sharon [Osbourne], you did it in such a classy way with so much love. And really as a lesson for all of us, you know, when somebody acts like that you can only feel sorry. When you’re in a happy place, you support and you love one another, and you boost everybody up.” On her dancing fall, Brinkley adds, “Your instinct is to protect yourself… and the second it hit… I knew. I grabbed my wrist, I felt like sharp things in my wrist. It was just like I was holding it together, and I immediately said, ‘I’m so sorry, I’ve ruined everything.’ I was having the best time, the best time. I was loving every second of it. And I had the greatest, well now I can say, I had Valentin [Chmerkovskiy]… He is incredible, and we got along like a house on fire. I mean, as he would say, we have great chemistry.”
