*In what many social media users have described as the definition of white male privilege, footage shows several cops avoid the use of lethal force as they scrambling to catch a naked teenager wanted for a triple homicide in Virginia.
According to Inside Edition, the 19-year-old allegedly killed his mother, sister and 15-month-old nephew, who were found shot dead at the family home in Keeling. The murderous teen was chased by several officers Tuesday morning, he even stopped to choke a random man along the way. One of the officers in seen in the video embed below running away from the suspect, before he’s finally overpowered by other officers.
The victims were the wife, baby and mother-in-law of 24-year-old baseball player Blake Bivens, a pitcher for Tampa Bay Rays’ minor league team, the Montgomery Biscuits.

The suspect, identified as Matthew Bernard, has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder.
Twitter users were quick to note the great restraint officers were able to display while attempting to apprehend a murder suspect.
Some of the reactions noted how Bernard “lived to tell all…Because – his life mattered.”
“It’s not like he was selling cigarettes or playing with a water pistol, so let’s not overreact.”
“Or fully clothed talking on his cell phone in his own back yard!”
“Or sound asleep in his own car.”
“Or sitting in the car with your lady and child!”
“Or selling CDs”
“Or being a simple human being ..”
Or “In in a car with friends after a bachelor party”
“Or riding his bike at night reaching for his ID that he was asked for..”
Some users questioned if the cops stopped to buy the suspect “a burger on the way to jail?”
Another noted that the arresting officers, “Probably took him to Kohls to shop for a tshirt and some skivvies.”
One commenter wrote: “Police shot Stephon Clark 8 times for breaking car windows and holding an iPhone, Matthew Bernard murdered three people and ran around naked harassing people and was arrested, unharmed…“
“And Eric Garland was killed for selling loose cigarettes. Tamir Rice, a 12 year old boy, was killed for playing with a toy gun on a playground with his sister. And far too many others,” another said.
Others recalled the unarmed Black male who was shot while running away from the police. But in the case of triple murder suspect Bernard, “The cop was running from the naked man….did I see that correctly? With his gun out the holster… he ran from and unarmed naked man and fearing for his life but did not shoot,” one Twitter user pointed out.
