Baron Jay Foundation 4th Annual Trailblazer Award honors Youth Community Leaders

*The Baron Jay foundation will host its 4th Annual Trailblazer Awards at the Skirball Cultural Center on Saturday, June 15th 2019.

The luncheon will feature powerful women such as the CEO of Hidden Empire Film Group, Roxanne Avent- Taylor, the managing Director of Morgan Stanley Marilyn Booker, Award Winning Film & TV Producer, Effie T. Brown and the award winning stylist for the ‘Black Panther’ Movie, Ruth E. Carter.

Founder Baron Jay expresses heartfelt remarks about why these women were chosen: ” We take this time to honor these amazing women who have taken the incentive to go above and beyond to bring awareness to the mission of “Each 1, Teach 1, Reach 1.” Each of these women have greatly contributed to the Baron Jay Foundation’s mission to give back to the youth community, and it is only right that they are recognized for their great efforts.”

The Baron Jay Foundation is  offering a variety of packages for The Trailblazer Awards, such as Silver, Gold and Platinum tables along with Tribute Journal Rates to give everyone a chance to give a helping hand in the future of the youth.

The foundation has received a grant from the California Endowment, the Sr. Program Manager, Albert Maldonado, also 2 matching donations from Disney Employees Brian Johnson and Derrick Williams for $25,000,  a $10,000 matching donation from Kevyn Waston, and his company Medtronic matched his donation, and T mobile has matched their employee Byron Grim’s donation of 3,000.

The Baron Jay Foundation encourages anyone who believes in providing better resources, technologies, education and experiences to the youth to take part and join them as they celebrate the strides that have already been made.  For tickets and more info click here. 

Baron Jay, The CEO and founder of The Baron Jay Foundation, had a vision many years ago when growing up as young boy in Detroit, to improve the resources that are given to inner city youth educational systems. His dream is to ” bridge the arts, education and technology that is provided to youth for maximum social impact.” Building and nurturing relationships between the youth and community leaders is imperative when uplifting the next generation.
