Anthony Hemingway and Steven Norfleet Engaged – Janet Jackson Slams Sexist Airline CEO

*Director Anthony Hemingway and actor Steven Norfleet have announced their engagement via social media.

Hemingway, who was recently honored by the African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA), shared the news on Instagram, as he and Norfleet showed off their engagement rings while atop a luxurious yacht.

The couple was celebrating Norfleet’s birthday when Anthony popped the question.

Hemingway has directed and produced several episodes of various award-winning television shows, including “The People v O.J. Simpson,” “Underground,” “The Wire,” “Power” and recent USA limited series, “Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G.”

Norfleet has appeared on several series’, including “Chicago P.D.,” “Underground” and “Being Mary Jane.”

Janet Jackson recently shared her disgust with one airline CEO who made a sexist remark regarding women in leadership positions.

During a news conference, Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker told the crowd that a woman could not hold his position due to its complex nature.

“Of course, it has to be led by a man because it is a very challenging position,” he said before the crowd gasped in disbelief.

Janet was one of many to call out the airline exec, reposting the clip along with the caption, “Bull… this is degradation and devaluation of women!”
