Florence Update: Michael Jordan Commits to $2 Million Donation for Storm Relief

*Tropical Storm Florence began as Hurricane Florence, but it’s still wreaking serious havoc of all kinds on the Carolinas. And even though the orange a-hole in the White House is visiting today to basically show support, Michael Jordan is coming through with money.

Yep, Florence victims are getting a huge assist from the man himself. That’s because Jordan is sending $2 MILLION to help anyone affected by the storm.

Jordan — who owns the Charlotte Hornets — says he’s giving $1 mil to the American Red Cross and another million to the Foundation For The Carolinas’ Hurricane Florence Response fund, reports TMZ.

The Hornets are also donating food boxes.

The team says it’s also created “Carolina Strong” shirts … and says 100 percent of the profits will be donated as well.

By the way … Jordan and the Hornets aren’t the only big-league club pitching in on the relief efforts — the Atlanta Braves handed out free tickets to those forced to flee last week.

As far as what Trump is doing in the area, according to WPTV.com, he was seen assisting volunteers at Temple Baptist Church in New Bern, North Carolina.

He was passing out Styrofoam containers with food, including hot dogs, chips and fruit and asking how those driving through are doing.

“How’s the house?” he was heard asking one person. “You take care of yourself,” he said.

Trump also gave props to organizers and thanked volunteers at the site as well as posed for photos and hugged volunteers, including a young boy.
