*Bow Wow had somewhat of a confessional on Thursday (April 12) while giving his self-proclaimed “last interview” with The Breakfast Club.
The rapper’s recent headlines have focused more on his off-the-mic behavior than his music or acting. Remember the #BowWowChallenge, which followed a fan’s photo of him flying coach just hours after he posted a pic that made it seem he was about to board a private jet? Remember his supposed attempt to photoshop himself into a legendary photo of Death Row Records artists — including Tupac, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, among others.
Bow Wow (born Shad Moss) addresses it all…once and for all.
“When I got with [Snoop Dogg]… was when Dre and all them started to part ways… we felt Death Row wasn’t the right move,” he said about his claims to have once been signed to the legendary West Coast label.
Co-host Charlamagne Tha God said, “So that picture of you wasn’t you flexing?” Bow Wow shook his head, “no, that was Death Row.”
He also clarified, among other things, that he never claimed to “run Ohio” and that a member of Future’s entourage never knocked him out, as a recent viral video seemed to suggest.
The rapper did not explain why this would be his final interview, but in an Instagram post prior to his appearance on The Breakfast Club, he simply said “I don’t like the press.”
