*Tamar Braxton is feeling herself as never before.
“I see me,” she writes in the caption of her latest Instagram photo showing off her new shiny dome.
On Thursday, Braxton posted video of her hair being shaved off and expressed a sense of freedom in the caption.
“I’m over feeling captive to a wig, weave, people, people’s comments & opinions! Hell…even my OWN feelings!,” she wrote. “WE can choose to stop these things from having the power and victory over us!!”
Tamar’s bold hair move comes five months after filing for divorce from Vincent Herbert following nine years of marriage. The two appeared together on “The View” in February, where they addressed speculation surrounding their marriage.
“In my marriage it was just to a point where I felt like divorce was the only option that I had left, although that we’re in extensive counseling, and that is much-needed and still will always be,” Tamar said.
She also revealed that she no longer lives with Vincent for the well-being of their four-year-old son, Logan.
“I think the bigger picture of everything is that we have a responsibility to my amazing four-year-old son, just to raise him in the most comfortable, loving, secure household that we can. That’s why we don’t live together,” she said.
