Bobby Brown Super Pissed At TV One; Sues to Block Airing of Bobbi Kristina Biopic

*Bobby Brown is not at all thrilled about TV One’s upcoming biopic about his late daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.

According to the entertainer, the film is filled with lies as well as claims of abuse. Because of that, he’s filed a lawsuit seeking over $1,000,000 in damages.

According to the lawsuit obtained by The Blast, Brown says the made for TV production contains scenes that show him being violent towards his ex-wife, Whitney Houston. He also claims there are “untrue” scenes that depict him as not loving Bobbi Kristina.

In the suit, Brown claims the production (company) used information they obtained while working with him on his 2004 reality show, ”Being Bobby Brown,” and used it in the new film without his permission.

Also, Brown says the casting call for the movie described him as “a hard drug user” who “devolves into violence and abuse towards his wife.”

The bottom line is that Bobby Brown is suing for libel and slander and is seeking damages in excess of a million dollars. If that isn’t enough, His main goal, it appears, is to block the film from airing on its October 8 air date on TV One.

In other Bobby Brown news …

If you haven’t heard, the singer has changed his mind about being a contestant on the upcoming season 25 of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”

“Bobby Brown was originally slated to be on this new season of DWTS, but recently pulled out,” one source tells Us. “There were issues with his contract, and he couldn’t come to an agreement with ABC that it would be worth it to do the show.”

That’s too bad because a lot of folks would have loved to have seen what the man, his late wife – Whitney Houston – called “The King of Stage” would have done. And of course, old school fans of New Edition also remember his moves from back in the day.
