*Recently, in Mexico City, the Youth Summit on Peace and a Sustainable Future (YSP) concluded in triumph after four transformative days of global diplomacy, cultural exchange, and youth-led vision casting.
Held from July 22–26, 2025, at the Cámara de Diputados México, the summit drew dignitaries, peace ambassadors, policymakers, and youth leaders from more than 15 nations to collaborate on a shared mission for global peace and sustainability.
Hosted by the Institute of Public Policy and Diplomatic Research (IPPDR) under the auspices of Governor Clara Brugada Molina, the Summit opened with a celebration of culture and unity. The first day welcomed participants with artistic performances from opera singers Barbara Derathé and Paulina Cataño, and a stirring appearance by global peace advocate and celebrity singer Wuluo Hai.
Opening remarks from government officials, including Hon. Ana Francis López Bayghen Patiño and Hon. Martha Ávila Ventura, set the tone for meaningful exchange and visionary leadership.
Day two addressed themes of youth engagement, peacebuilding, and sustainable development. Participants heard from globally recognized figures including Felipe Paullier, UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth; Michal Mlynár, Deputy Executive Director of UN-Habitat; Rosalia Arteaga, former President of Ecuador; and Isaac Bayoh, Youth Representative of Sierra Leone to the United Nations.

The day included a keynote address from KING YAHWEH, who delivered a profound and energizing message that resonated deeply with the youth in attendance. He emphasized that before we can begin to solve the world’s pressing international challenges—whether political, economic, or humanitarian—we must first look inward and cultivate peace within our own homes, communities, and nations.
Without a strong foundation of unity and understanding at the local level, global solutions remain out of reach. He challenged the next generation to rise above outdated traditions and rigid thinking that no longer serve progress. His words served not only as a call to action but also as a reminder that true leadership requires courage to break cycles and imagine new possibilities.
Through his address, King YAHWEH ignited a spirit of forward-thinking purpose, empowering youth to become catalysts for peace and transformation both at home and around the world.
The third day delved into human rights, innovation, and climate justice. Delegates participated in discussions on artificial intelligence for good, climate threats in the Global South, and practical strategies for mental resilience. Youth-led presentations brought fresh perspectives, and high-level panels tackled ethical solutions and future-ready frameworks for diplomacy and activism.
By Friday, July 25, momentum had built into action. The day opened with reflections on the UN Pact for the Future, and culminated in the collaborative drafting of the 2025 Mexico Declaration—a formal commitment to advancing peace, justice, and multilateral engagement worldwide. That evening, the Summit hosted its Private Gala and Graduation Ceremony, where certificates of achievement were awarded to numerous delegates in recognition of their contributions to the summit and ongoing leadership in their respective nations.

During the Gala, KING YAHWEH was awarded the prestigious Doctorado Honoris Causa, an Honorary Doctorate of Global Peace and Theology, presented by the Federación Internacional de Especialistas FINTEST, PROFETIT, and the IPPDR. The recognition, conferred on July 25, 2025, acknowledged KING YAHWEH’s exceptional humanitarian impact and leadership as an Ambassador of Peace on the Global Stage.
This is awarded to KING YAHWEH as a figure of moral excellence whose dedication to justice, education, and peace transcends national boundaries and inspires future generations. This honor stands among the highest of the Summit and cements his role as a global agent of unity and transformation.
Other distinguished honorees at the summit included Ambassador Dr. Andrise Bass, who served as both speaker and Chief Protocol Strategist for the Kingdom of Kush, and delivered remarks that energized and guided the summit’s direction. Her leadership as CEO of IPPDR was instrumental to the summit’s execution and its long-term vision for change.
Delegates traveled from across the globe—including Ecuador, South Africa, Russia, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Algeria, Iran, Nigeria, Ireland, Indonesia, Sierra Leone, China, Haiti, the United States, and Mexico—making this a truly international convergence of ideas and commitments. Each participant left with new tools, allies, and responsibilities, all connected through the Global Youth Action Network, which will continue advancing the summit’s work beyond the week.
As delegates departed on Saturday, July 26, the message was resounding: the Youth Summit on Peace and a Sustainable Future was not simply an event, but a launching pad for global transformation. The awards, the collaborations, the Declaration, and the bonds formed will echo into the future, reshaping lives and communities through empowered peace building.
