In a rare on-camera appearance, a former corrections officer shares a harrowing account of her downfall at the hands of a powerful BGF leader. She details how her professional role spiraled into criminal complicity as she smuggled drugs and contraband into the facility—an act that ignited national outrage and became a scandalous headline.
“This is a gang that operates like a Fortune 500 company,” said an executive producer at VICE TV.
“They are one of the few prison gangs that have a formal written constitution called the BGF Constitution. The constitution established a paramilitary hierarchy that included a central executive committee, field generals, captains, lieutenants, and soldiers,” the EP continued. “They also established a grave clause called the Death Oath, of blood in and blood outs stating: “If I should ever break my stride…this oath will kill me…”
