*Ray J issued a warning to Pastor Jamal Bryant not to release a video of their recent interview, threatening that he’ll “snatch somebody off the pulpit” if it’s made public.
Ray J didn’t disclose when or where the interview took place or what topics were covered but noted that there would be repercussions if the pastor of New Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta shared the footage.
“Yo, I got nothing but love for Pastor Bryant. Shoutout to Jamal Bryant… but if y’all play that interview, somebody getting snatched off the pulpit,” he said in a video post, per Vibe. “Don’t play the interview, it’s not cleared, it’s out of bounds. Me and Pastor Bryant need to talk because the way I was treated was dirty and illegal.”
He added, “And I don’t like it and I don’t want nobody to play that f**king interview—I don’t care if you from the church or not. Be respectful and do people right. Don’t call people out they name, don’t make people feel like they not safe in a place that they thought they were safe. I’m telling you right now, we need to work it out because if we don’t, it’s gon’ be a problem.”
In a follow-up post on Instagram, Ray J revealed that someone allegedly attempted to shoot him, saying, “Ni**as just tried to shoot me, tried to kill me, and you want me to apologize, ni**a? F**k you!”
Meanwhile, we reported earlier that Ray previously claimed that he had a wild confrontation erupted involving (Diddy‘s kids) Justin and Christian Combs, as well as their brother Quincy Brown following Tara Electra’s Halloween bash on October 27. The charged encounter took place as all four individuals were leaving the event, drawing significant attention from fans and media alike.
Thankfully, the incident was defused before it escalated further, as singer Chris Brown, of all people, stepped in to break up the altercation. The Combs brothers’ decision to approach Ray J was fueled by the latter’s recent criticism of their father, Sean “Diddy” Combs, as part of his commentary on the challenges Diddy has faced in recent months.
Diddy is currently being held in federal custody in Brooklyn after being indicted in September on three criminal charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and denied the allegations. If convicted, the music mogul faces up to life in prison. The trial begins in May 2025.
